Job Description


Hot Melt Packaging Operator

$16 Per Hour

Paid Weekly!

Marketplace Professional Staffing is a 28-year-old, locally owned and operated staffing agency, with an outstanding reputation. We are currently seeking experienced Packing Operator for a local Greenville, South Carolina organization.

Hours:

  • 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am Sunday -Thursday
  • Overtime is mandatory.
  • Heavy lifting up to 75 lbs is required.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • This is not a climate-controlled environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Entry Level Operators are responsible for the manufacturing and packaging of hot melt adhesives.

· Understand how to complete all aspects of the process equipment lines following instructions from supervisor.

· Checks visual quality of all products.

· Accurately weighs and records volume of product produced, rework, and waste on batch sheets.

· Handles packaging materials and finished products with the use of forklifts. Follows all safety requirements of operating a forklift and completes forklift safety training.

· Ensure that proper PPE is used in accordance with written job procedures and safety policies.

· Performs general housekeeping and appearance in the area assigned.

· Perform any necessary preventative maintenance on equipment in his/her area.

· Performs other duties as requested.
