Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble a variety of plastic parts: automotive parts to prescribed specifications
Maintain a neat and orderly work station
Perform all required job functions in a safe manner consistent with plant safety standards.
Meet or exceed time standards for the particular operation being performed.
Perform required paperwork such as quality checks, parts requests, etc., for the particular operation being performed.
Perform any necessary line/product changes or preventative maintenance required by the operation
Work together and communicate daily with fellow associates about operation and safety issues
Repair non-conforming parts by following Rework Procedures .
Assist leaders (set-up persons) in machine set up.
Participate in problem-solving process.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process .
1st Shift (7:00AM-3:30PM) Monday Friday
2nd Shift (3:00PM-11:30PM) Monday Friday
3rd Shift (11:00PM-7:30AM) Sunday Thursday
Cleaner (8:00AM-4:30PM) Monday Friday.
Education High School Diploma or GED
Requirements Must be minimum of 18 years of age, ability to pass a drug test and background check
Language Ability Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Math Ability Be able to understand and compute basic math problems.
Well ventilated area, cement floors
Exposure to in-plant temperatures between 40F and exceeding 100F
Unusual Physical Requirements:
Use of assorted hand tools including but not limited to exacto knives, hand cutters, air hammers and orbital sanders for an extended period of time in a repetitive motion.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as required (when necessary on certain jobs)
Ability to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, grip, reach, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and in a repetitive motion.
Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule.
Be able to work at a table or reach into boxes up to 42 high
Assemble small parts
