CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing high quality service and timely, accurate resolution of all in-bound calls to the Customer Service Center. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and who has two plus years of customer service experience in a call center environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Use investigative and active listening skills to assess each caller s situation; apply appropriate solutions to resolve the customer s needs.
Answer all customer questions thoroughly and accurately to eliminate the need for return calls.
Route calls requiring specialized service to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
Direct calls requiring escalation to a member of management as necessary.
Adhere to all company guidelines and regulatory requirements as they pertain to proper call handling.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum 1-2 years relevant customer service experience in a call center environment required
Prior consumer finance experience preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills, professional, courteous with excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient PC and keyboarding skills with the ability to maneuver in a Windows based environment
Detail oriented and the ability to multi task
Ability to work with a diverse customer and workforce population
Proactive with effective investigative and follow up skills
