Lead Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join a group of engineers in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the startup of the assembly line, will have awesome electrical skills and a strong background in industrial maintenance.
- Responsible for leading a team of assemblers in performing electrical and/or mechanical assembly.
- Work directly with engineers with a primary focus on development, maintenance, and documentation of work instructions.
- Provide technical support and instruction for group leaders.
- Ability to test assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, including, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Forklift operation as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform field service and installation work as needed.
Experience
- Associate degree or 2-year technical certification in manufacturing operations/skill trade
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Experience with hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Travel as necessary 0-25%
