Maintenance Manager
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our clients facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of 5 to ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by coordinating preventive maintenance requirements on production machines.
- Manages maintenance request system on items related to Maintenance Department.
- Oversee replacement parts ordering and control.
- Responsible for documenting maintenance procedures in accordance with TS procedures.
- Responsible for training, review, and disciplinary activities with all maintenance staff.
- Active participant in ISO/TS, safety, and suggestion committee meetings.
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Previous supervisory or management experience required (5 years).
- 5+ years manufacturing equipment maintenance experience required.
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to read building prints and electrical schematics.
- Self-starter who is motivated to solve problems quickly to support manufacturing operations.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage several projects at a time.
- Basic computer skills--proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend most of the time on your feet.
