Metal Assembly Associate

• 1st shift:  $15.00/hr: 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday -
• 2nd shift:  $16.00/hr: 2:30pm - 11pm Monday to Friday
• Overtime is mandatory 

Marketplace Professional Staffing is a 28-year-old, locally owned and operated staffing agency, with an outstanding reputation. We are currently hiring Metal Assembly Associates for a local Piedmont Manufacturing company.

We are looking for someone that likes to make things happen and are passionate about what they do.

About The Opportunity

Assemble components to create packaging interiors while adhering to quality and safety standards.

1. Complete necessary assembly operations according to the design print.
2. Follow all necessary steps in assembly process to ensure top quality product.
3. Safe and proper use of all hand tools required.
4. Safe and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) required for the job.
5. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, and follow standard work.
6. Actively participates in 5S and Safety activities.
7. Contribute to team efforts by working together and accomplishing tasks as required.
8. Ensures all work meets quality standards.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Job Overview
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components accurately and efficiently to produce high-quality products.

Duties
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble products on the assembly line
- Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine materials needed
- Operate machinery to fabricate parts as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or factory setting preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment effectively
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly tasks
