This position offers the opportunity to go from temporary to part time employee. Benefits are offered for temporary employees. Skills are developed and experience is gained to help advance your career. Opportunities for full time employment are available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Production operates on 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week. Some weekend work required
Associates work a minimum of 4 days per week, with the option to pick up a 5th day.
All associates are trained on all positions, mixing, scaling, baking, packing
Lift, measure, and mix ingredients
Quickly pack and inspect products as they come down the conveyer belt
A Shift (6:00AM-6:00PM)
B Shift (6:00PM-6:00AM)
4 Days a week
Education High School Diploma or GED
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
Language Ability Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Math Ability Be able to understand and compute basic math problems.
Well ventilated area, cement floors
Exposure to in-plant temperatures between 40F and exceeding 100F
Unusual Physical Requirements:
Use of assorted kitchen equipment such as, mixers, scales, measuring cups, ovens, etc
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as required (when necessary on certain jobs)
Ability to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, grip, reach, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and in a repetitive motion.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
