Press Operator / Production

$15.00 - $15.75  Per Hour

Marketplace Professional Staffing is a 25-year-old, locally owned and operated staffing agency, with an outstanding reputation. We are currently seeking an experienced Press Operator associate for a local Welford, South Carolina organization. This organization is a leader in textile recycling.

Hours:

• A shift: 7AM – 7PM – (12 hour shift) Monday to Friday - $15.00/hr
• B shift: 7:45PM – 8AM (12 hour shift) Monday to Friday - $15.75/hr

Working conditions:

• Non-Climate controlled environment
• Concrete floors

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Operate and monitor press machines to fabricate products according to specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Have Manufacturing and/or assembly experience
• Be able to lift up to 55 pounds
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
• Be able to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, reach walk/stand for a prolonged period of time
• Work a 12 hour shift
• Understand customer service and process thinking
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
• Be able to understand and compute math problems
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the employer.
• Highschool diploma or GED
• Be available for a facility tour at a moment’s notice
