Process Technician I / Chemical Operator

Marketplace Professional Staffing is a 28-year-old, locally owned and operated staffing agency, with an outstanding reputation. We are currently seeking a Process Technician for a local Piedmont organization

$19-$23 per hour based on experience

Paid Weekly!

• 1 year Chemical handling experience required
• 1 year Forklift experience required

Responsibilities:

• In-Process Monitoring checks for all Production Lines
• Chemistry adjustments as needed for process control
• Chemical feed pump dosing
• Filter maintenance per Preventative Maintenance schedule
• Replenishment of chemical containers used at the plating processes
• Chemical areas organized at the plating process
• Logging process control problems into maintenance system
• Participates in housekeeping / 5S activities.
• Keep chemical areas clean and organized.
• Metering pump verification and calibration
• Equipment maintenance at the plating process
• Tank dumps and rebuilds
• Waste treatment monitoring
• Understands procedure for confined space entry and lockout/tagout.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• High School / GED required
• 1 year Chemical handling experience.
• 1 year Forklift experience
• Mechanically inclined with general maintenance knowledge
• Must possess strong people skills. Must demonstrate good communication skills both written and oral
• Excellent time management, able to understand how to prioritize work with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task and works well in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with leadership and self-motivated traits
