Welders! (Junior, Certificate, Mig, etc. 6 mos. exp)

Candidates must undergo & pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

$18-$19 per hour depending on shift, paid weekly.

• 1st shift : 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday
• Overtime is mandatory

Marketplace Professional Staffing is a 28-year-old, locally owned and operated staffing agency, with an outstanding reputation. We are currently seeking Welders with 6 months or more experience for a local Piedmont Manufacturing company. We are hiring qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety.

About The Opportunity

Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques.

Overtime will be offered based on business needs. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all company safety procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
2. Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
3. Start up and shut down machines properly.
4. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.

5. Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.

Work Experience

At least 6 months of welding experience
